Former Tennessee Attorney General Paul G. Summers visits The Investigator and discusses murder cases and the death penalty. As Tennessee Attorney General he oversaw the appeals process on convicted murderer Abu-Ali Abdur Rahman who is currently awaiting execution on Tennessee’s Death Row.
Even though the case is over 30 years old, it is still traveling through the court system. General Summers combines his unique style of delivery with his experiences as a District Attorney General, Justice on the Tennessee Criminal Court of Appeals, defense attorney, Tennessee Attorney General, and Senior Judge for Tennessee to explain why and how this case has been in the Justice System so long!
This is a very informative discussion and the General demonstrates his special ability to make a complicated process easy to understand!
